Meet the Winners of the 2025 SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competition!
We are excited to unveil the Honour Roll Winners of the 2025 SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competition (CDEC)!
With over 4,7000 entries from across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT, this year’s competition showcased the incredible creativity, insight, and passion of our nation’s young minds.
The theme for CDEC 2025, “How I Would Use Technology to Mobilise My Peers for a Greater Nigeria,” challenged students to think critically and creatively about the role of technology in inspiring positive change among their peers. The competition sought to uncover how today’s children – Nigeria’s future leaders – can harness the power of digital tools and peer influence to foster unity, responsibility, and social impact in their communities.
Participants were asked to propose innovative, tech-driven initiatives that could transform peer influence into a force for good. Through their essays, they explored bold and practical ideas for using technology to encourage collaboration, promote good values, and drive meaningful change.
We are immensely proud of all participants and grateful to the educators, parents, and supporters who contributed to the success of this year’s edition. Our Top 25 winners in both junior and senior categories will be published soon – check back here for the list.
Congratulations to all our winners! Keep embracing technology, inspiring your peers, and building a greater Nigeria. The 2026 edition will be announced soon – stay connected!
